EQUILIBRIUM HALTON

Equilibrium Halton is a peer support group for people and their families with mental health challenges. We strive to provide safe, non-judgemental learning environment and meeting place for anyone who may benefit from peer support that wishes to attend.

The purpose of the group is to help people gain a better understanding of mental health conditions, to offer non-judgemental support and to share experiences.

Our Group meets on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June in southeast Oakville. Meetings run from 7.00 PM to 9:00 PM with the first hour dedicated to education, a speaker from a local mental health expert and the second hour to discussion in small groups.

No registration or membership is required. Everyone is welcomed. Just show up! Operating costs are covered by small donations at meetings.

*Equilibrium Halton created in 2026 to merge the volunteer peer support work and community outreach efforts of Equilibrium Oakville (1991), Equilibrium Burlington (2016) and Equilibrium Georgetown (2011). Please see our About page for more information about these organizations and the work they have contributed over the years leading to the formation of Equilibrium Halton.
